Remodel of an unfinished project with and expansion and even a branding design of the logo on the facade. Lunaya is a small residential complex located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, designed to offer a quiet and private coastal living experience along Mexico’s Pacific coast. The project is composed of four independent villas and a penthouse residence, each conceived as a self-contained retreat that balances openness, privacy, and a close relationship with the surrounding tropical landscape.

Each of the four villas includes a private pool, sun deck, kitchenette, and generous bathroom, creating a compact yet comfortable environment for extended stays. The spaces are organized to encourage a fluid connection between indoor living areas and outdoor terraces, allowing daily life to unfold naturally between shaded interiors and open-air environments.

Above the villas, a penthouse residence faces the ocean and provides a more expansive living arrangement. The unit combines living, dining, and kitchen spaces within a single open layout, complemented by a private bedroom and a large bathroom. The elevated position allows the penthouse to capture distant views and natural breezes from the Pacific Ocean.

Gardens and skylights are carefully integrated throughout the project to enhance the spatial experience and introduce natural light into interior areas. These elements create moments of calm and intimacy while reinforcing the relationship between architecture and vegetation.

Lunaya is designed as a collection of peaceful dwellings where privacy, climate responsiveness, and outdoor living define the character of the architecture, offering a quiet retreat within the coastal landscape of Puerto Escondido.
