Serenity is the great and true antidote against anguish and fear, and today, more than ever, it is the architect’s duty to make of it a permanent guest in the home, no matter how sumptuous or how humble.

L.Barragan

We approach our work as an architecture and consulting studio with a strong sense of rigor at every stage of the process. From the earliest conceptual ideas to the completion of a building, landscape, piece of furniture, or any required intervention, we are committed to precision and care.

At the heart of our architectural practice lies a deep understanding of context—of the place, the client’s needs, and the natural environment. We work with sensitivity toward surrounding vegetation, bodies of water, wind patterns, coastal dunes, and native trees, seeking a respectful dialogue with the landscape.

Our interest is in shaping forward-looking contemporary architecture, rooted in climate and place. We understand contemporary architecture as the refinement of light, material, composition, and rhythm, as well as thermal comfort, ventilation, and landscape integration—essential elements that allow architecture to offer well-being, comfort, and a meaningful quality of life to those who inhabit it.

Projects

Our intention is to create conscious architecture—one that considers all that a project entails, from the user to the careful analysis of the site: views, landscape, orientation, and the many elements that shape the composition of our work.

We believe architecture is far more than material placed upon the ground. Concepts such as light and shadow, the sound of wind, the murmur of water, the play of the senses, bodily awareness, privacy, and sensuality are essential to our practice. Through this, we seek an architecture that is human, emotional, and functional.

Who We Are

Palapa roof. Traditional technique for the costal weather.

A contemporary architecture practice based in Mexico, specialising in residential architecture, coastal home design and boutique hospitality projects. The studio develops site-responsive projects that respond carefully to climate, landscape, and local materials. With work in places such as Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, and Todos Santos, the practice focuses on creating refined spaces that balance environmental awareness, structural clarity, and spatial calm. Each project emerges from a close dialogue between site, culture, and construction, resulting in architecture that is both regionally grounded and carefully crafted. The work is guided by principles of sustainable design, thoughtful material expression, and an enduring relationship between architecture and its environment.
